SCHOOL BOWLS
School Bowls is a National pathway for primary and secondary students to; learn, play, and enjoy the sport of lawn bowls.
The Let’s Play Bowls (LPB) committee comprising; experienced teachers, bowlers, and parents developed this initiative, introducing students to the game, through engaging and inclusive ‘inter-school’ competitions.
Program Overview
School Bowls is delivered during Term 2 and Term 4 offering students the opportunity to learn new skills, participate in friendly competition and enjoy bowls in a fun and supportive environment.
Who Can Participate?
Primary School Bowls: Year 4 - 6 students
Snr School Bowls: Year 7- 11 students
Program Features
Free team entry.
Equipment supplied.
Non-contact sport that is fun to play.
Skill development in an inclusive environment.
Age-appropriate ‘inter-school’ competitions
Students develop confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship while representing their school in a positive and enjoyable outdoor setting.
